The visit will begin at 2pm in the Cider House with refreshments and an introductory talk. Visitors will then be taken on a site tour, where they will see the apple processing, production and bottling facilities, before afternoon tea in the Cider House and a tasting of the end product. Visitor numbers are limited to 25, all must be aged over 18 years (group bookings are not accepted). Book by calling on the number below.

Booking needed. Take a tour of the cider orchard and learn to identify varieties of apples such as Yarlington Mill and Sheep's Nose, see the cider making process using a 100 year old cider press.

Max 30 per tour. Tours 11am and 2pm.

Bring your own apples - or those you got from friends/neighbours back gardens (asking first!). Have them pressed by the Scrumping Project and take away a bottle of your own apple juice! Or leave your apples for the Scrumping Project to make into cider. Either way, it'll be a good day out. There is no limit on numbers to join in the apple peeling andpressing. Meet at Longwell Green Leisure Centre at 10.30am. A morning of practical orchard conservation including mulching and pruning - no tools or knowledge necessary. Learn about managing apple trees whilst enjoying fresh air and some gentle exercise on the beautiful nature reserve Cock Road Ridge.

Discover a local orchard! Starting at Fountain Square in Broad Street, Staple Hill this walk will include the railway path, Mangotsfield Station, Pomphrey Hill and Rodway Common. Just turn up at 10.30am wearing suitable footwear and clothes. Good surfaces, no stiles but some hills.

This event is suitable for adults with special needs and wheelchair users. An invitation to learn how to make healthy but delicious recipes using fruit harvested locally. £3 fee but you get to take away something you have baked! Maximum 10 people. Booking essential. 10am - 12noon
