Limousin 'It is widely acknowledged that Limousin cattle in the South West are equal to others anywhere else in the country. Many are descended from famous bloodlines with both British and French origins. They are concentrated in Devon and Somerset, with a rising population in Cornwall and a few herds in Wiltshire and Dorset.
Devonshire 'The Red Ruby Devon is a tremendously popular breed of beef cow. Prized for its good temperament, and its marbled, succulent beef.'
Hereford 'Herefords produce an excellent 'marbled' beef that is in great demand both within the UK and for export due to its distinctive flavour and renowned eating quality.'
