Get ready for Halloween at Rosemoor's Pumpkin Day - a great day out for children and adults alike! This year, come along and get carving! Carve your own pumpkin at our lantern making workshop and then enter it into our Pumpkin Competition (pumpkins will be provided). You can also have a go at our Pumpkin Shy, take the Pumpkin Trail around the Garden and learn how to cook delicious pumpkin delicacies at our cooking demonstration. There will also be various wood craft demonstrations, including charcoal burning, tent peg making, wooden rakes, walking sticks and besom making as well as wood turning and carving. For a Sunday with a difference, come along and join in the fun!

Cost: Normal garden entry.

Farm tea room and ice cream viewing with DVD of farming activities. Farm animals in pens.

Local foods stocked and served- light lunches and cream teas/homemade cakes and of course ice cream sundaes.

Children can decorate their own cakes between 3pm ad 5pm daily throughout the month of October in our Harbour Restaurant, special afternoon tea offers for adults too!

Pre-schoolers and Mums/Dads are invited to listen to stories about local fruit and sing songs with an autumnal fruit theme at Staple Hill library. This event includes a short walk to collect a free item of fruit from a local greengrocer.
Starts 11am and ends 12noon

Saturday afternoon's are always great for pizza, and never more so that if you're getting your hands on that dough and making your own!!

With limited spaces, we are looking forward to inviting kids, up to age 10 the chance to hand-stretch their own pizza bases, & then lovingly (or messily!) top them with their very own selection of ingredients!!

Prizes for the best/worst/most creative, etc...and the kids get to eat their creations, with a drink, for a tenner a child.
