Welcome to Celebration of Food 2009.

For the first year Somerset, Bath and Bristol is taking part in Celebration of Food 2009. With over 80 events taking place across the region during the month of October, there's something delicious to suit every palate.

Just some of the events going on this October include the Exmoor Food Festival, The Feastival at Kilver Court, a Gosset Champagne dinner at The Bath Priory and Somerset Cider Festival at Bath's The Garrick's Head.

There's also an Eat Out for £10 dining promotion taking place across the month, so that credit-crunch hit consumers can eat at some of the best restaurants at a tasty discount. See the Sherry and Small Plates event at Bristol's Lido, The Glassboat's two courses for £10 and Cadbury House Hotel's offer.

There's loads of good stuff going on though, so explore the site to see what takes your fancy.

food magazine will have all of the listings of this year's events with pictures. For more information, also keep an eye on olive magazine, the Western Gazette and listen to Bristol's Star FM throughout October.

For more information on the festival  please call organisers Salt Media on 01271 859299.
