Festival of apples at The Bishop’s Palace

This October, Bishop’s Palace is apple mad. Apple bobbing, ‘Pin the maggot’ and apple-and-spoon races kick-start the launch of a new range of homemade chutneys and jams. While the kids play, mums and dads can tuck into a selection of apple-themed winter warmers in the Palace café, such as sausage and apple plait, apple pie with a cheddar crust, Somerset apple and cider cake, apple scones, apple sorbet, toffee apples, all washed down with flights of cider.
