Deer rut safari & cream tea at Powderham Castle

Enjoy Powderham Castle grounds and take a special Deer Park Safari on the tractor trailer at 2.30pm to admire the deer, followed by a delicious cream tea in the Courtyard Tea Room for just £10 per person.

Autumn’s a fabulous time of year at the castle, with breathtaking scenery and wonderful wildlife, combined with the fascinating behaviour of the deer during rutting season. Booking essential. Guests are welcome to arrive from 11am. This doesn’t include a tour inside the castle.
