Welcome to Celebration of Food 2009.

For the seventh year, Devon is taking part in Celebration of Food 2009. With over 85 events taking place across the county during the month of October, there's something delicious to suit every palate.

Just some of the events in Devon this October include the North Devon Food Fest where Willie Harcourt Cooze will be doing a bean to bar demonstration on stage, foodie events for kids at Darts Farm, the Dartmoor Food Festival, and a Tom Aikens guest chef night at Seahorse Restaurant as part of the Dartmouth Food Festival.

There's also an Eat Out for £10 dining promotion taking place across the month, so that credit-crunch hit consumers can eat at some of the best restaurants at a tasty discount.

There's loads of good stuff going on though, so explore the site to see what takes your fancy.

The September issue of food magazine will also have all of the listings of this year's events with pictures. Also keep an eye on olive magazine and the North Devon Journal for more information before and during the month.

For more information on the festival  please call organisers Salt Media on 01271 859299.
